By instructing Carbon Property to carry out your EPC you can be assured of a fast, reliable and economical service.

The assessment required to produce an EPC is a non-intrusive one, the duration of which will depend on the size and complexity of the property.  A walk around survey is needed to gather all the information about the building structure, wall and roof insulation, the activity for each area within the building and full details of the installed heating, cooling and lighting systems.  It will also be necessary for us to produce detailed, scalable floor plans of the whole building if these cannot be made available prior to the survey.

Information gathered from the survey is then, along with the dimensions from the floor plans, transferred into the approved software system to generate the EPC and the Recommendation Report for the building. 

The Recommendation Report is then modified by us to ensure it reflects the specific requirements of the building before the EPC is lodged on the national register and a copy sent to the client.
